Dave Lewis, CO, LO, started his career in Orthotics in 1989 and was accredited as a certified member of the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 1996. David has worked in the Twin Cities for his entire career. Prior to joining Twin Cities Orthopedics, he worked for other local hospitals along with private Orthotic & Prosthetic companies where he gained the skills to become a season Orthotic Practitioner. David has been our primary Orthotist at our Minnesota Prosthetics & Orthotics Edina location since 2006 and became the clinical manager of MPO in early 2017.
David spent over 8 years in the U.S. Army Reserves as a combat medic and was activated for Desert Storm where he treated patients at Fort Sam Houston, Texas in the orthotic and prosthetic department. David has lived in the Twin Cities throughout his life and has been an active volunteer including coaching baseball in his local community and Assistant Trap Shooting Coach to his son’s high school team. He has also volunteered at a yearly event with Hearts for Soles providing the homeless with free shoes.
