About

David Giancola, MSOP, CPO, LP, is a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist based out of our Burnsville, Edina, and Waconia locations. David is a 2011 graduate of the University of Mount Union and holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Exercise Science. It was through a great interest in biomechanics that David eventually pursued a Master’s degree in orthotics and prosthetics. He graduated from the Baylor College of Medicine Masters of Orthotics and Prosthetics program in 2015. In 2016, he achieved his ABC certification in prosthetics.

David joined Twin Cities Orthopedics in 2016. He currently services amputees of all amputation levels but specializes in the treatment and management of transfemoral amputees. David’s passion for sports medicine and prosthetics continue to drive him to pursue new and better concepts to better serve the active amputee.
