Wyatt Benson, CSCS, is a sports performance coach from Cloquet Minnesota where he was a four-sport athlete (football, track, basketball, and cross country skiing). While in college at the University of North Dakota, Wyatt worked as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant with football and women’s basketball and was promoted to Assistant at the beginning of 2022 with football, men’s and women’s golf, cheerleading, dance, hockey, and cheerleading teams. During that time, he also taught a few kinesiology classes (exercise physiology, fundamentals of strength and conditioning, and exercises testing and prescription). Wyatt recently worked as a strength and conditioning intern for the University of Minnesota hockey teams and the USAW national hockey team. He his currently researching how hypoxia training can increase key performance indicators in anaerobic team sport athletes and plan on publishing this study within the year.
