Christie S. Heikes, MD
Dr. Christie Heikes, MD, is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship trained in sports medicine. Her surgical interests focus on athletic injuries including knee arthroscopy, minimally invasive ACL reconstruction, revision ACL reconstruction, meniscal surgery, pediatric sports medicine, and disorders of the patellofemoral (knee cap) joint.
Her husband, Andrew Arthur, MD, is also an orthopedic surgeon at Twin Cities Orthopedics.

About
Samantha Ardy, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant working in conjunction with Dr. Christie Heikes to coordinate excellent orthopedic patient care. Her responsibilities include assisting Dr. Heikes with all aspects of orthopedic care including evaluating and treating patients in clinic and assisting in surgery. Samantha values patient education, shared decision making, and high-quality patient centered care.
While completing her bachelor’s degree, she competed on the Gustavus Gymnastics Team and was named an All-American. Growing up a competitor and athlete, she has always had a passion for orthopedics and sports medicine.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with family, friends, and her border terrier, Frankie.
