My Team
Edward W. Kelly, MD, MBA
Edward Kelly, MD, MBA, joined Twin Cities Orthopedics in 2002. He specializes in arthritic, traumatic, and sports injuries to the shoulder, elbow and knee. Dr. Kelly has published several papers and is fellowship trained in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and elbow. He has a certificate of added qualifications in sports medicine and has served as a faculty member for the MOSMI Sports Medicine fellowship program since 2009. Dr. Kelly also serves as the lead team physician for the University of St. Thomas men’s and women’s athletic teams.
Dr. Kelly is an advocate of high-value health care – providing patients with the highest quality medical experience while being cost conscious. An example of this philosophy is the TCO EXCEL Orthopedic Surgery and Recovery Program, in which Dr. Kelly participates. Dr. Kelly completed his Heath Care MBA at the University of St. Thomas, which enhanced his fundamental global understanding of today’s health care environment and continued dedication to provide cost-effective, high-value patient care.

Elbow care, including elbow trauma, fracture fixation, elbow arthroscopy, elbow arthritis, elbow replacement, revision elbow replacement, ligament injuries including instability and Tommy John surgery, osteochondritis dissecans, biceps/triceps tendon injuries, and tennis elbow
Knee care, including knee replacement, custom knee replacement with conformis, knee arthroscopy, knee trauma, and tendon repairs
Shoulder care, including shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability, shoulder trauma including shoulder fractures, anatomic and reverse shoulder replacement, and revision shoulder replacement
Sports medicine, including treating athletes of all ages for shoulder labrum repair, shoulder separation injuries, clavicle fractures, and elbow ligament injuries.

Ultrasound, a cost-effective, radiation-free, in-clinic tool used to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions including injections of the knee, shoulder, elbow and hip

About
Lindsey Anderson, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant working in conjunction with Dr. Kelly to coordinate excellent orthopedic patient care. Lindsey serves patients through clinical evaluation and treatment, performing clinical procedures such as joint injections, assisting Dr. Kelly in surgery, and helping to manage patients in the hospital or outpatient setting post-operatively. As an extension of Dr. Kelly’s practice, Lindsey values patient education and high-quality, yet cost-effective, patient-centered care.

Kaici Gulbrandson, OTC
Certified Orthopedic Technologist and Care Coordinator
Kaici has been a valued member of Twin Cities Orthopedics since 2002 and joined Dr. Kelly’s team in 2003. As care coordinator to Dr. Kelly and Lindsey, a few of Kaici’s roles include: scribing for Dr. Kelly in clinic, scheduling appointments and procedures, obtaining authorization through insurance, and serving as an excellent resource for patients before and after appointment or procedures. She is also highly experienced as a Certified Orthopedic Technologist with special training in casting and splinting techniques. While attending the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, Kaici earned her degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. She has a professional affiliation with the National Association of Orthopedic Technologists and is the Vice President of the Northern Lights Association of Orthopedic Technologists.
