See yourself getting fit

For most of us, staying in shape is tough. The rigors of daily life tend to overpower our will to hit the gym, go for a run, or even take a nice walk outside. We know we should, but it doesn’t always happen. There are barriers that get in our way. And you know what? That’s OK.

In fact, that’s why we started offering Fitness Classes at Twin Cities Orthopedics. One less barrier.

We believe everyone should have access to high-quality fitness activities, no matter their age or current fitness levels. It’s never been easier to build strength, improve flexibility and gain endurance with a community of like-minded people.

TCO Back to Basics

Length: 45 minutes

Intensity: Low

What to Expect:

Back to Basics is designed for people with limited range of motion, flexibility, strength or endurance. It’s also a great re-introduction to exercise for people recovering from an injury.

Classes feature low-impact strength and conditioning exercises that focus on the lower body and core strengthening, along with balance and flexibility (primarily in the standing position). Modifications will be made for those who want and need them, so everyone experiences a great session that’s customized to their needs.

TCO Yoga Flow

Length: 60 minutes

Intensity: Medium

What to Expect:

TCO Yoga Flow is an introduction to power yoga designed to build strength, increase flexibility and calm your mind. Instructors apply anatomical knowledge and expertise to postures during a challenging vinyassa-style yoga class.

You’ll deepen awareness of your body, find challenge in a physical practice, enjoy relaxation and rejuvenate.

TCO Sculpt & Stretch

Length: 30 minutes

Intensity: Medium

What to Expect:

TCO Sculpt & Stretch is an enlightening and energizing full-body workout. The class is a combination of power yoga, Pilates and barre designed to target both large and small muscle groups while focusing on core strength and balance. A ballet barre is used throughout the class.

The class is short, making it perfect for burning calories and toning your body during your busy schedule.

TCO Pilates Mat Class

Length: 60 minutes

Intensity: Medium

What to Expect:

TCO Pilates is a full-body, low-impact structured workout that focuses on moving from the core to create balance, control, beautiful posture and proper alignment.

Pilates is a perfect complement to any other workout and will leave you feeling light on your feet, elongated, strong and confident. Our goal is to help you feel great – inside and out!

TCO Body Burn

Length: 60 minutes

Intensity: High

What to Expect:

TCO Body Burn is a challenging combination of strength training and cardio using your own body weight and resistance-band training. You’ll build strength in your core, upper body and lower body by burning out each muscle group to the max.

Body Burn is a full-body workout for people who have a foundation in fitness and are ready for a challenge.

TCO Boot Camp

Length: 45 minutes

Intensity: High

What to Expect:

TCO Boot Camp is our most intense class. We help you push yourself to your full potential each workout, striving for new levels of fitness. There is variety in the workouts from class to class, and we foster a team atmosphere where everyone motivates each other.
