Bone Health

Strong Bones for a Strong Future

Did you know? 1 out of 2 women over 50 years old and 1 out of 4 men over 50 years old will break a bone due to osteoporosis. (National Osteoporosis Foundation)

Bone Health was developed by TCO’s team of experts with the goal of proactively treating patients at risk for osteoporosis (or those who may already have it).  The focus of the program will be on strengthening your bones and preventing future injuries, including fractures and falls. A broken bone can change your everyday quality of life, and also make it harder to return to your life before the break.

Patients will work with our bone health team to:

  • Develop an individualized care plan that focuses on optimizing bone health
  • Evaluate health history and current bone health status
  • Build a personalized strategy to prevent future broken bones, focusing on areas such as nutrition, exercise, current medication, and fall prevention
  • If needed, recommend supplements and medications that can help build stronger bones

No referral necessary. Telehealth visits available. Bone Health visit is billed as a traditional office visit.
