What are a few interesting facts that people may not know about you?
In my free time, I enjoy cooking and discovering new restaurants. I’m also a former competitive gymnast and cheerleader, and I’m addicted to working out at Orangetheory Fitness.
Why did you go into medicine?
I went into medicine because I want to help people. I really enjoy finding ways to help diagnose and treat injuries to return my patients back to health.
How did you choose orthopedics?
I grew up as an athlete so that has translated into a new fitness journey for me to stay healthy. I enjoy being a part of a team that helps guide patients back to health so they can achieve their fitness or athletic goals.
What is your care philosophy?
I strive to have shared decision making with my patients to get them back to their health, athletic and fitness goals.
What does your dream practice look like?
My dream practice would be a mixture of clinic work and being a team physician for both high school and college level athletes. I really enjoy the ability to split my time within the clinic as well as on the sideline.
