I retired earlier this year and was looking forward to catching up on many activities and experiences that I didn't have time for in the past. But frequent issues with my knees posed a significant problem. I had total knee replacement done by
Dr. Kelly on both knees (6 weeks apart) and after recovery I'm excited to say that my knee pain is gone and I have total confidence in my knees once again. I spent a week on vacation in December (10 months after my first knee replacement) and walked nearly 70 pain-free miles in 7 days. I've returned to my car building hobby, and am doing all the things around my home that had become difficult. I am still seeing improvement in both knees and am excited about that. I am convinced that all the dreams I had for my retirement are once again within reach.
