I was a very active person who hiked, biked, played tennis two hours a day, lifted weights and did many things during the day. My knee was very worn out and I became extremely debilitated. My pain was at a 10 and walking was extremely difficult as was sleeping. I felt like I couldn't do anything without intense pain. After I had the surgery and went through strenuous physical therapy, I am now back to doing everything I like to do without pain. It took approximately 4 1/2 months to get back playing high-level tennis and now I'm playing three hours a day. I had absolutely no idea that I could feel as good as I feel doing the things that I love. I would have the surgery again if needed!
Dr. Meyer did a great job! I would highly recommend him. The nurses and the support team were fabulous too.
