After receiving a phone call from my daughter’s school stating, “please come to school we believe that your daughter broke her arm.” I knew that the only place that I wanted to take her was Twin Cities Orthopedics. When we arrived, the waiting room full of people and the wait times were long. However, Courtney, the receptionist could see the urgency behind the patients face. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were seen quickly and efficiently. I will be forever grateful for the service that we received from her. After being placed in a room, the doctor came in immediately, took x-rays, waited for the results and explained the severity of her injuries. The doctor took time to explain our options and allowed us to make a decision that we felt was best for our child. I want to say, “Thank You” to everyone that helped us and took care of us that day.

Dr. Steven Meisterling has been my surgeon for both knee replacements. My first surgery was in 2013 and my second surgery was just this past March of 2018. I am completely satisfied with both procedures. I received such great care from doctor and staff both before and after surgery. My knee is healing nicely and I am back to my normal routines. Thank you so much.

Dr. Ryan is absolutely outstanding! We were so pleased with our recent visit! She took time and really listened to our concerns. She engaged and cared enough to get to the bottom of issues. She made an action plan and showed respect for my daughter’s pain and desire to get back to competing. She is extremely knowledgeable and clearly explained everything! We will travel the 4 hour trip to see her for all our medical needs because she is worth it! Hands down one of the best doctors we have ever seen! We are so pleased and so impressed! So grateful and finally feel like things are going to get resolved! We have real hope….thanks to Dr. Maria Ryan.

GREAT success with my total shoulder replacement done by Dr. O’Keefe. Perfect results and the care given from making the first appointment through PT was top notch. If there is any advice I would give it would be DON’T WAIT to have it done. I am pain free!

Dr. Brian O’Neill did a right anterior hip replacement on May 15, 2018. I woke up with no pain. Only used Tylenol. Within five days was using a cane and within 10 days just walking alone and I am not an exerciser. I like to walk. I would give him a 10 and recommend him and his caring staff.

Suddenly I awoke one morning with a swollen right leg and right knee so painful I couldn’t bend it. Familiar with TCO, I looked on my computer for the knee expert and made an appointment! I saw Dr. Meisterling only twice and found him to be kind and straightforward, pinpointing the cause of my problem immediately but agreeing to my preference for an MRI. He scheduled the MRI as efficiently as he kept the time of his appointments with me. Of course the MRI bore out his original diagnosis, and he suggested trying a cortisone shot for my 86 year old knee to see how that goes. Dr. Meisterling is not interested in foolish attempts at third rate humor and one must respect him for that.

I liked the EXCEL program and felt the care that I received from Dr. Arthur and staff at Interlude, Plymouth was excellent. My goal was to go on a previously planned trip to Peru about 3 1/2 months post-op with my husband and sons, ages 22 and 25. I was able to do everything I had hoped to in Peru; including a 5 mile round-trip hike through a muddy, rutted ravine to and from Lake Sandoval in the Amazon rainforest, and hiking and climbing around Machu Picchu, where the limiting factor for all of us was the altitude, not my hip!

Dr. Meyer has giving me the ability to work hard and provide a great life for my family once again. Very thankful for his excellent talent as a surgeon.

Thank you, Dr. Mair, for your expertise and care during my recent knee replacement. It is wonderful to go into surgery calmly and without fear, trusting the surgeon completely. I will definitely continue to recommend your services to people in Gibbon.

Thank you also to the entire staff at the Waconia Hospital. From the admittance, through the pre-op activities, meeting the anesthesiologist and acting physician, nurses helping along the way, the recovery room and later in my room for my three day stay, all staff were wonderful. In spite of the lousy weather right after Easter, every nurse, nurse’s assistant, aide, physical and occupational therapist, lab technician that drew blood etc., were so helpful, kind and caring that it made my stay very comfortable. The kitchen did an excellent job on the meals which my daughter (and coach) and I appreciated because we were able to choose our menu. I know I have forgotten some of you that made my stay very comfortable and even fun, but it is not intentional. I just want everyone that had anything to do with my hospital stay to know that I definitely appreciated all of your efforts and will heartily recommend the Waconia Hospital to anyone that needs health care.

My progress in physical therapy is going very well and I graduated to a cane yesterday. My next goal is to be able to drive again which should be in the very near future. Because of all of your efforts and help, my replacement was a very satisfactory effort with great results.
