Janna Neher, PT, DPT, became a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2013. She began her career in neuro pediatrics with a special interest in gait technology. She has experience with several devices including the ReWalk exoskeleton, WalkAide, Lokomat and LiteRun. In 2018, she transitioned her career to Twin Cities Orthopedics to focus on amputee rehabilitation with ongoing interest in prosthetics, orthotics and gait technology. She also has experience in sports rehabilitation, post-operative therapy, concussion management and pediatric rehabilitation.
Janna has been a member of the Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Committee since 2014. This committee provides recommendations to the Department of Human Services on legislation and program development to improve the quality of life for individuals affected by traumatic brain injuries. For the 2018-2019 session she served as the Vice Chair and in 2019 she was appointed Chair to this committee. She has been an active member of the Minnesota Physical Therapy Association in the State Government Affairs Committee since 2013 where she has advocated for patients, families and the field of physical therapy. She is currently a member of the American Physical Therapy Association participating in national advocacy efforts and maintaining membership in the Orthopedics, Sports and Pediatric Sections.
