Laura Schatz, OTR/L, CLT, has specialized in the treatment of upper extremity conditions for over 30 years, including rehabilitation for traumatic hand and arm injuries, arthritic conditions, post-surgical rehab, and cumulative trauma of the wrist, hand and elbow. She uses a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, patient education, neuromuscular re-education, kinesio taping, custom splinting and modalities. She strives to customize treatment for each individual focusing on their priorities.
Laura has been a certified lymphedema therapist since 2003 effectively treating swelling in arms, legs and trunk with manual lymphatic mobilization, compression, exercise and developing a custom home program to maintain the edema reduction.
In her free time Laura enjoys gardening, camping, kayaking, board games, quilting, mentoring youth at church and time with her husband, extended family and friends.
