Tegan Nelson, DPT, OCS, ATC, received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from St. Scholastica. Prior to that, she worked as an Athletic Trainer with an orthopedic surgeon in the clinical setting. Given her background, Tegan enjoys the challenge of managing all orthopedic and sports-related injuries with a special interest in treating patients with knee, shoulder, and ankle injuries. She utilizes a combination of exercise and manual therapy to help patients improve their function and achieve their goals. Tegan believes in applying evidence-based medicine and collaborates with the physicians at Twin Cities Orthopedics in efforts to provide the highest level of care. In her spare time, Tegan enjoys spending time with her husband and their black lab puppy, being outdoors, sports, and watching movies.
