Travis Nietert, CMT, has been practicing Massage Therapy professionally for over a year, since graduating from Carlson College of Massage Therapy. He was first introduced to massage therapy during his somatic based dance and biology training in his undergraduate studies at Luther College. He enjoys using his knowledge of kinesiology and functional anatomy to take an analytical approach to helping people heal themselves. This has allowed him to work with various athletes in reaching their goals and improving their performance as well as help people get back to their full potential after various injuries. In addition to his Sports and Therapeutic Massage training he has training in the John Barnes Myofascial Release approach and uses elements of it in every session as well as does full sessions of this powerful treatment modality.
