Xochill Thalhuber, PT, MPT, is a Physical Therapist with over 22 years of experience working in the orthopedics. Xochill graduated with her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the College of St Scholastica after completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science at University of Minnesota – Duluth.
Xochill values a holistic evaluation and treatment approach to all orthopedic diagnoses with special interest in surgical and non-surgical shoulder, hip, knee, and foot and ankle. She utilizes evidence-based medicine to support and determine her plan of care. She finds success in the marriage of manual therapy techniques and neuromuscular recruitment and re-education as adjunct tools for optimal outcomes. Xochill enjoys working with her patients to create an individualized care plan with the end goal of returning them to their maximal function with less pain and reduced risk of re-injury.
Xochill lives in Orono, Minnesota with her husband, identical twin teenage daughters, son, and quirky golden retriever. She and her husband are kept busy coaching their kids in youth sports or proudly cheering from the sidelines as they develop in competitive swimming, track, hockey, lacrosse, and golf. In addition to sports, Xochill also appreciates spending time on the lake, around a bonfire, or at a cabin with friends and family.
