Amy T. Moeller, MD
Dr. Amy Moeller is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in conditions of the elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand. She treats patients of all ages, offering expert care for complex fractures, nerve compression injuries, pediatric upper extremity fractures, and congenital differences.
With a commitment to individualized care, Dr. Moeller utilizes the latest surgical techniques and non-surgical treatments to help patients achieve optimal outcomes. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based medicine.
A Minnesota native, Dr. Moeller was born and raised in St. Cloud. She earned her undergraduate degree from the College of Saint Benedict and completed medical school and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Minnesota. She then pursued advanced training in hand and microvascular surgery through a fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Before joining Twin Cities Orthopedics, Dr. Moeller served as an assistant professor and practicing surgeon at the University of Minnesota for five years.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Moeller enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and is an optimistic Minnesota sports fan.
Clinical Interest
Hand care, including fracture care, Dupuytren disease, Xiaflex injections, ganglion cysts, masses, mucoid cysts, finger and hand lacerations with tendon or nerve involvement, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, arthritis, thumb CMC joint osteoarthritis, and dislocations
Wrist care, including fracture care, tendonitis, arthritis, distal radius fractures, De Quervain’s tenosynovitis, masses including ganglion cysts, tendon injuries, and nerve injuries
Elbow care, including fracture and dislocation care of the elbow in children and adults, cubital tunnel syndrome, ulnar nerve subluxation, nerve injuries of the elbow, and arthritis care, including joint replacement
Fracture care, including fractures of the olecranon, radius, ulna, carpal bones, metacarpals and phalanges, deformities related to fractures, and incomplete healing of fractures
Pediatric care, including children with fractures or dislocations of the elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand, growth arrest of the upper extremity, bone or soft tissue masses, trigger thumbs, and congenital differences including webbed fingers, extra digits, and missing digits, and extra toes or webbed toes
Sports medicine, including gamekeeper’s thumb, skier’s thumb, TFCC injuries, ligament injuries of the hand, wrist, and elbow, wrist arthroscopy, and ligament reconstructions

About
Bridget Greiber, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant working in conjunction with Dr. Moeller to coordinate excellent orthopedic patient care. Bridget serves patients through clinical evaluation and treatment, performing clinical procedures such as injections, assisting Dr. Moeller in surgery, and helping to manage patients in the outpatient setting post-operatively. As an extension of Dr. Moeller’s practice, Bridget values patient education, shared decision making, and high-quality patient-centered care.

Sarah J.
Care Coordinator
Sarah has been with TCO since 2006. She joined Dr. Gesensway’s team as a care coordinator in 2011. Sarah schedules surgeries and tests; answers patients’ phone calls; and assists in filling out paperwork. Sarah is married with two young children and a dog named Norman. Sarah likes to stay active by running and biking and enjoys spending time with her family.
