Given the complexity (in my mind) of this procedure and everything it entails, I am amazed at the efficiency, thoroughness, and level of care at all stages. Dr. Andrew Schmiesing, his direct TCO team, admin staff, the EXCEL program, and post-surgery caregivers all exceeded my expectations. From the earliest point in the process with Dr. Schmiesing, and through the procedure, post-surgery, and rehab, everything I experienced was smooth, high quality, and confidence-inspiring. Dr. Schmiesing did my surgical knee replacement. Of course, I had some trepidation about the procedure and the recovery. It was a much easier surgery than I expected and the after-care is wonderful. It was a great experience from the first visit until the last. It’s been six weeks since surgery and I’m walking an average of six miles per day. Dr. Schmiesing did a great job with the surgery and the follow up care. The EXCEL Program was a lot of help too, along with my physical therapist, Jacob.
