Etasha Bhatt, MD, is a hand surgery fellowship-trained surgeon who specializes in the treatment of hand, wrist, and elbow conditions. She completed her undergraduate degree in biochemistry, biophysics, and molecular biology at Whitman College and went on to attend medical school at the University of Washington. She completed her Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Minnesota, followed by the Minnesota Hand Surgery Fellowship. After fellowship, she practiced in Washington state prior to moving back to Minnesota to be closer to family.
Growing up, she was a competitive gymnast and understands the desire to return to sport and activity after an injury. She enjoys the intricate anatomy of the upper extremity and the opportunity to interact with patients of all ages. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also an orthopedic surgeon, and her two sons. She also enjoys hiking, biking, yoga, and cooking.
She aims to provide thoughtful and individualized patient care. Her goal is to educate patients about their condition and provide treatment options that meet their unique needs.
Elbow Care including cubital tunnel syndrome, arthritis, and denervation procedure for tennis elbow
Fracture Care including, fractures of the radius, ulna, carpal bones, metacarpals, and phalanges, deformities related to fractures, and incomplete healing of fractures
Hand Care including, arthritis, CMC arthroplasty, CMC denervation, PIP or MCP arthroplasty, Dupuytren’s disease (including Xiaflex injections), carpal tunnel syndrome, finger/hand lacerations with tendon or nerve Injuries, trigger finger, nerve compression or injuries, scaphoid fractures, metacarpal fractures, dislocations, masses, cysts, tendonitis, trauma, and fractures
Pediatric Care including, children with fractures or dislocations of the forearm, wrist, or hand

Wrist Care including, arthritis, distal radius fractures, DeQuervain’s, ganglion cysts, tendon injuries, nerve injuries and fractures, tendonitis, and wrist denervation
