Joseph P. Nemanich, MD

Dr. Joe Nemanich is a partner with Twin Cities Orthopedics and a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, serving patients in the South Metro. He specializes in hip and knee care, with expertise in complex joint replacement. Dr. Nemanich helps patients of all ages restore mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy. In addition to joint replacement surgery, he treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including arthritis, fractures, and cartilage and ligament injuries.

A native of Minneapolis, Dr. Nemanich attended St. John’s University where he received his undergraduate degree in natural science. He went on to earn his medical doctorate at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Nemanich completed his orthopedic surgery residency  at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, where he developed an interest in adult reconstruction and published research articles focusing on joint replacement. His training also includes sports medicine and orthopedic trauma.

Outside of work, Dr. Nemanich enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. Whether attending his children’s sporting events or pursuing his own hobbies like golfing and volunteering, he values staying active and connected to his community. Coming from a family of health care professionals (his father and brother), Dr. Nemanich is committed to improving patient care and outcomes.
