I had my second hip replaced by Dr. Arntson with the anterior approach. The surgery went really well. I was up and walking the same day and was released the next day. Within a few days, I was walking well on my own but kept a cane nearby just in case I needed it. I'm one month post-op and I am walking and biking miles with minimal pain. It’s much better than my first hip replacement. I had a lot of pain while in recovery from that one.
