TCO Welcomes New Physician Dr. Aaron Bloom
Join us in welcoming our newest physician, Aaron P. Bloom, DO, MSc, to Twin Cities Orthopedics.
Dr. Bloom joins TCO specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain disorders of the spine, chest, pelvis and extremities. He completed his Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Minnesota and his fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Colorado. Dr. Bloom works closely with surgeons, PTs, OTs and personal trainers to comprehensively optimize the likelihood of breaking his patients’ pain cycle.

What are a few interesting facts that people may not know about you?
I am a life-long Minnesota sports fan, and played NCAA Baseball as a pitcher and center fielder. I am also a National Art Honor Scholar.
Why did you go into medicine?
I was organically drawn to the biological sciences starting in high school and took a keen interest in neuroscience in college. These academic interests, combined with my empathetic nature, led me to pursue a career in medicine.
What does your dream practice look like?
Twin Cities Orthopedics epitomizes my dream practice. I have always envisioned myself working shoulder-to-shoulder with orthopedic surgeons, PTs, OTs, personal trainers and PM&R specialists to optimize patient outcomes.

What is your care philosophy?
I believe multi-modal pain management strategies are the most likely to succeed. My goal is to alleviate the patient’s pain, thereby opening a critical window of opportunity to maximally participate in rehabilitation.
Dr. Bloom will practice at TCO’s Burnsville and Edina-Crosstown locations.
