At 51 years old, having to have total shoulder replacement surgery is a bit shocking and humbling. The surgery, care and professionalism I received however, has been very positive and successful. I feel fortunate and look forward to the prospective of using my shoulder again for normal activities like reaching above shoulder height, lifting with normal strength and swimming again. For so long, I tolerated the pain and worked around my immobility. I'm young and should not be under such restrictions so it is actually exciting that I won't have to suffer and live like that anymore. I'm very happy I had this surgery done with
