TCO Welcomes New Physician Dr. Robert Brenner

Join us in welcoming our newest physician, Robert M. Brenner, MD, to Twin Cities Orthopedics.

Dr. Brenner  joins TCO as a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon. He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota and his fellowship in Spine Surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. Dr. Brenner specializes in operative and nonoperative care of spinal problems in patients of all ages. He is extensively subspecialty trained in spine surgery, including minimally invasive surgery. He is committed to delivering the highest level of spinal care, and staying on the leading edge of innovation and technological advancement in the field, to ensure that his patients have access to the very best care available.

What are a few interesting facts that people may not know about you?

I am a master scuba diver, diehard fisherman, and outdoorsman. I have an amazing wife and two (soon to be three!) of the coolest kids in the world.

Why did you go into medicine?

I come from a family of healthcare providers and former military members who instilled in me the passion of helping others.

How did you choose orthopedics?

I chose orthopedics to help patients regain function in their body and improve their quality of life.

What does your dream practice look like?

My dream practice would be providing world class, comprehensive, nonoperative and operative spine care with a multidisciplinary team of driven providers, paired with a work-life balance that allows time to be a great husband and father.
