Nicole Wheeler, PT, DPT, OCS received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University in 2012. Prior to her graduate studies, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training from Buena Vista University in 2009. Nicole is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the orthopedic section of the APTA. Nicole has had an active interest in sports all her life, competing in both dance and gymnastics and playing collegiate tennis at Buena Vista University. In addition to sports medicine, she has a strong interest in general orthopedics, concussion and vestibular rehab. Nicole uses a variety of treatment techniques such as manual therapy, including muscle energy techniques, and exercise to create an individualized program for each patient to achieve their specific goals. When not at work she enjoys golfing, fishing, sporting events and spending time with her husband and kids.
