Derek Newberger, PT, DPT, is a licensed physical therapist with a focus in orthopedics, helping patients recover from a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including joint replacements, tendon and ligament issues, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, back and neck pain, and other orthopedic or movement-related challenges.
Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, Derek earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from North Dakota State University. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota.
Derek strives to weave science with the art of care, bringing a personalized approach to help each patient return to what matters most to them. He believes that healing begins with understanding, helping patients transform recovery into renewed confidence.
Beyond his work as a clinician, Derek values an active and balanced lifestyle. He enjoys strength training, relaxing at the lakes, attending live music events, trying new foods, and spending quality time with friends and family.
