Difference Makers: Emily Walter

Emily Walter at our Lake Elmo location is a team player who greets every patient she meets with warmth and kindness, and she’s one of our Difference Makers.

Difference Makers: Emily WalterWhat’s your title and role?

I’m a patient service representative in Lake Elmo, working in the spine center/MRI. I greet people when they come into the office and get them checked in and ready to see the provider and schedule follow-up appointments. MRI is also part of our clinic, so I schedule MRIs and check those patients in as well.

Favorite thing about working at TCO

I love the interaction with patients and seeing their conditions improve with physical therapy or surgery. I also have a great team of coworkers.

How do you make a difference?

Working together with the team to provide the best customer service to the patient. Making their experience positive. I truly enjoy our patients and love helping them with whatever their needs are; it feels good to help people.

Favorite things outside of work

I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am a Wild hockey fan. I also love to watch my son play hockey and daughter play tennis. A few more favorites are reading, going to movies and a martini every now and then!

Thank you for being a difference maker, Emily!

Twin Cities Orthopedics has been named one of the Top 150 Workplaces for seven consecutive years by the Star Tribune, and one of the main reasons is because of our amazing team members who make a difference every day.
