Live Surgical Transmission from Twin Cities Orthopedics Edina

On Oct. 25, 2011 Chris Larson, MD transmitted a live arthroscopic hip surgical case from Fairview Southdale to the Harvard Hip Course in Boston. A crew from Boston came to Minnesota and used a satellite truck to transmit the live surgery to the course. Over 400 orthopaedic surgeons from around the world attended the 4 day course and the surgery was moderated by Dr. Bryan Kelly from the Hospital for Special Surgery and Dr. Thomas Sampson from San Fransisco. Dr Larson demonstrated a labral repair and FAI corrective surgery in a young elite athlete.
