Michele Jacobson, MS, OTR/L, CHT, CLT, earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Minnesota in 2000. She has been in hand therapy practice for over 26 years and became a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 2006. The first fourteen years of her practice were at a small rural hospital system, which allowed Michele to use her hand therapy and orthotic skills to assist with long-term care patients, home care patients, pediatric patients, and orthopedic hand patients.
Michele has been with TCO for over 12 years at the Burnsville location, practicing hand therapy and lymphedema therapy. Additionally, Michele thoroughly enjoys teaching and sharing her skills with others through teaching occupational therapy fieldwork students, mentoring hand therapy fellows, and teaching at the College of Saint Scholastica. In her leisure time, she enjoys running, hiking, skiing, gardening, and other outdoor activities. Michele spends most of her time outside of the clinic volunteering and spending time with her family and her goldendoodle.
