Difference Makers: Anna Gonzalez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Gonzalez, who recently received the “You Made a Difference Award” at TCO. She wears many hats, all to make our patients’ experiences better.

What’s your title and role?

I’m a patient services representative/clinic float in Edina. A clinic float helps out in different departments – reception, MRI, shipping/receiving, switchboard. I also order interpreter requests and generally help out where coverage is needed.

How long have you worked at TCO?

I started in November 2013.

What’s your favorite thing about working at TCO?

I like the people and being able to work all over the building. I love my coworkers! I also like the work environment and learning new things.

How do you make a difference?

What do I do to make a difference? I always try to have empathy. I like to help people. Anything I can do to make it a little easier for someone else, I try to do.

What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?

I enjoy watching movies, playing video games, traveling, scuba diving, hiking, walking my dogs, anything outside, really.
