Hurry and register for TCO Vikings 5K
With less than a month to go until race day, time’s running out to register for the TCO Vikings 5K. Join us Saturday, Sept. 16, for the popular event where runners finish by soaring through the tunnel of U.S. Bank Stadium and crossing the 50-yard line. Last year’s race sold out.
Twin Cities Orthopedics is proud to be the naming sponsor of the event that’s hosted by the Minnesota Vikings. We know participants and spectators might have some questions about the TCO Vikings 5K. So, with the help of our partners in purple, we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions – and their answers to keep handy ahead of the big day.

What time do the races start?
The 5K begins at 8 a.m. while the Kids Fun Run starts at 11 a.m.
What about parking?
If you park near U.S. Bank Stadium you can take the Light Rail (Blue Line) from the U.S. Bank Stadium stop to the Lake Street stop. From there you will walk 3 blocks west to the TCO Vikings 5K starting line. You can also park near the starting line and take the Light Rail back following the race. You can also visit the City of Minneapolis website for more information.
Are strollers, walkers and wheelchairs allowed in the 5K race?
Yes, we are allowing strollers, walkers and wheelchairs for the 5K race. We just ask that you start at the back of the pack to keep the starting area clear for faster participants.
Can spectators see the finish in the stadium?
Yes, spectators will be able to see the finish from inside U.S. Bank Stadium. All spectators will enter through the Legacy Gate after passing through security. Spectators will be allowed to participate in the activities on Medtronic Plaza and the West Concourse but will not be allowed on to the field or into the locker room.
Is the 40-yard dash just for those 17 years old and younger?
No. Everybody that participates in the 5K run will receive a time for their 40-yard dash to the finish. The Kids Fun Run is a separate race on the field and is only available to those younger than 7 years old.
Is there a discount for season-ticket members?
This year’s race will be raising money from entry fees for Vikings philanthropic projects as well as a nonprofit selected by Anderson Race Management. Since the race is a fundraiser, no discounts exist outside of the price breaks for early registration.
Do Vikings Rewards Members receive points for participating?

What is the Kids Fun Run?
