Introducing TCO’s Newest Fellows
Join us in welcoming our newest fellows to the practice.
Foot & Ankle Fellows Dr. Caroline Chen and Dr. Patrick Donaghue, and Sports Medicine Fellows Dr. Dustin Lee and Dr. Matthew Rasmussen, have joined TCO for the 2024 – 2025 academic year.
With their diverse backgrounds, these individuals bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and an eagerness to learn and grow.
Dr. Chen was born in Indonesia but raised in Arkansas. She attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed her Orthopedic Surgery Residency at The Medical University of South Carolina. She is excited to live in Minnesota to explore the lakes, bike trails, and winter activities with her husband.
Dr. Donaghue was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He completed his medical degree and residency training at Temple University Hospital. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and son, Augustin. The whole family is excited to complete his final year of training in the Twin Cities.
Dr. Lee grew up in Mabel, a rural farming community in southeastern Minnesota. He completed a six-year enlistment in the Air Force before beginning his undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Lee remained at UNC-Chapel Hill for medical school and then returned to Minnesota for his Orthopedic Residency Training at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Lee and his wife are looking forward to their year in the Twin Cities before joining the Mayo Clinic in Red Wing.
Dr. Rasmussen grew up in Chaska, Minnesota. He worked as a research engineer at the Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colorado for two years before returning home to attend medical school at the University of Minnesota. He completed his Orthopedic Residency at the University of Michigan alongside his wife, Chloe, who completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology. They are excited to move back to the Twin Cities with the addition of their beautiful daughter, Quinn.
As they begin their time at TCO, let us all extend our full support and encouragement. We look forward to a year of growth, learning, and transforming patient care.
