MPO, TCO provide those in need with warm socks, boots ahead of Twin Cities winter

Staff from Minnesota Prosthetics & Orthotics and Twin Cities Orthopedics gathered Tuesday at the Catholic Charites Opportunity Center in Minneapolis for the 11th annual Soles for Souls charity event.

Along with doctors, nurses, orthotists and many other volunteers, 344 adults and kids were provided with a foot exam, warm socks and new boots to help them this winter on the Twin Cities streets.

Clients also had the opportunity to receive a flu shot and access to free legal advice from local law firms.

Soles for Souls is held annually on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. With close to 60 volunteers from a variety of clinics, hospitals and organizations, MPO and TCO were well-represented with 14 staffers and family members present at the event.
