Melissa Zimmermann, BSN, RN, PHN has been a Registered Nurse since 1993. Throughout her career, Melissa has had an opportunity to provide care in a vast number of care areas including medical/surgical/oncology, telemetry, intensive care in a Level I trauma hospital, Inter-facility fixed wing and ground medical transport, and Ambulatory surgery (pre/post-op/PACU). In addition, Melissa served as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve, 452nd Combat Support Hospital from 2003-2005.
Melissa is passionate about learning and education. Her primary goal is to ensure that the patients that are entrusted to her care feel well-informed allowing them to make knowledgeable decisions regarding their health.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys reading, fishing, crafting, watching her son play baseball and spending time with family and friends.
