Dr. Eglseder is a primary care sports medicine physician who specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of sports medicine and musculoskeletal concerns. He uses ultrasound imaging to help with the underlying diagnosis in patients. He has experience with athletes of every age and at every level of competition whether it be pee-wee baseball all the way up to professional athletes.
Dr. Eglseder was born and raised in Eden Prairie, MN where he played high school varsity soccer and went on to play varsity soccer all four years at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. He majored with a degree in Biology before going on to medical school at Ross University. He completed Family Medicine Residency at Stamford Hospital and then moved to New Jersey where he finished a sports medicine fellowship at Atlantic Health System. During fellowship, Dr. Eglseder was the team physician for multiple local high school teams as well as a DIII college team. He also worked on the sidelines and in the training room for the NFL team the New York Jets. He was also able to work on the sidelines of the mens and womens Seton Hall University teams. He volunteered at half and full marathons while out east and honed his musculoskeletal ultrasound skills.
During his free time, Dr. Eglseder enjoys playing soccer and golf. He spends time with friends and family as well as his golden retriever dog named Bentley. He loves being active on hikes followed by a beer at a local brewery. He enjoys being back in Minnesota where he can now focus on patient care.
