Peter Swann, MD, FAAFP, FACOEM, MRO leads Occupational Health at TCO with his extensive national and regional experience in occupational medicine, workers’ compensation, and employer health strategies. His career includes leadership roles such as Medical Director for Minnesota Occupational Health; Vice President and Associate Medical Director for WorkCare Inc.; National Medical Director for Berkshire Hathaway’s Workers Compensation Division; and Regional Medical Director for Concentra Health Services.
A graduate of Dartmouth College and Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Swann is board certified in Family Medicine and is a fellow of both the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians. His professional background spans clinical care, medical oversight for large employer populations, and consultation on regulatory and legislative issues affecting occupational and family medicine.
Dr. Swann previously served as Secretary and Newsletter Editor for the Western Occupational and Environmental Medicine Association (WOEMA) and chaired its Legislative Affairs Committee. He has represented both WOEMA and the California Academy of Family Physicians in state-level regulatory and legislative matters involving occupational health, family medicine, and workers’ compensation policy.
