Kevin Cardinal, MSOP, CPO, LPO, is a 2016 graduate of the University of Minnesota Rochester and holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Sciences. He worked as an orthotic technician at Gillette Children’s Hospital while completing his Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics (MSOP) in 2021 at Concordia University in St. Paul. He then traveled to the East Coast for his prosthetic residency at the VA Hospital in Virginia, and later to the West Coast for his orthotics residency with Evergreen P&O in Tacoma, Washington. He moved back home to Minnesota and began working with Twin Cities Orthopedics in the spring of 2026.
Kevin was drawn to this field by the opportunity to have a significant and immediate impact on his patients’ lives through creative and custom solutions. He says, “It is always an amazing and emotional event to see a patient stand or walk for the first time since their injury, amputation, or the onset of their condition.” Outside of work, Kevin enjoys hiking, skiing, golfing, and exploring the outdoors.
