St. Croix Orthopaedics Expands – Adding Two Surgeons, Opening a St. Paul Clinic

St. Paul, MN, August 17, 2015 – St. Croix Orthopaedics (SCO), now part of Twin Cities Orthopedics (TCO), welcomes two fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons to its practice in the coming weeks and will open its first St. Paul clinic this fall.

“We are excited to welcome two talented, patient-focused orthopedic surgeons to the practice,” said Melanie Sullivan, TCO’s East Metro Chief Executive Officer.  “Their addition to our team, along with the expansion into St. Paul, brings much needed specialty services to our growing patient population.”

Dr. Kevin Lindgren will begin seeing patients at Maplewood and Woodbury clinics at the start of September and in St. Paul this fall.  Dr. Lindgren graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2004, and earned his medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin in 2009. He completed an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at University of Nebraska Medical Center/Creighton University, where he was awarded the Frank P. Stone, M.D. award for Outstanding Resident. He followed residency with fellowship training at the University of Utah, specializing in hip and knee reconstruction and hip preservation surgery.  Outside of his orthopaedic surgery practice, Dr. Lindgren stays active fishing, hunting, spending time with his family, and home brewing.

Dr. Jaclyn Bailey will begin seeing patients at Maplewood and Wyoming clinics at the end of September and in St. Paul this fall.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN in 2004, and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree in 2009 from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis.  She completed her Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners/Michigan State University and followed with fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the University of California San Francisco.  Outside of her orthopaedic surgery practice, Dr. Bailey enjoys cycling, gardening, and visiting national parks.

The new St. Paul clinic, the first of SCO’s clinics to be TCO-branded, will be housed on the third floor of United Hospital’s Ritchie Medical Plaza.  The clinic will have 5 exam rooms, X-ray capability and offer a full array of orthopedic services five days a week.
