TCO proud to partner with Minnesota Twins

For many Minnesotans, hearing those two words belted from the home plate umpire at Target Field in late March will signal the chilly, unofficial start of summer. For TCO, it will mean something even more important; the beginning of a brand-new sports medicine partnership with the Minnesota Twins.
As a proud partner of the Minnesota Twins, TCO physicians Corey Wulf, MD, and David Olson, MD, will serve as team physicians this season.
There’s no holding back Dr. Olson’s enthusiasm for the partnership. “I’m excited to be named as one of the new team physicians for the Minnesota Twins,” he said. “Some of my earliest memories growing up were going to games with my parents and brother at Met Stadium and the Metrodome. One of the greatest games I’ve ever attended was Game 2 of the ’87 World Series. It was the loudest sporting event I’ve ever been to! It will be awesome to be a part of head athletic trainer Tony Leo’s medical staff. We have an amazing group of people who will work hard together to bring the Twins the best possible care for their players and staff. I can’t wait to get Spring Training started and be part of what promises to be an exciting 2019 season.”
Dr. Wulf shares the same excitement. “I couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to work with a great organization like the Minnesota Twins as part of such an incredibly talented and diverse medical staff,” he said. “The organization recognizes that player health and development are critical to the club’s ability to compete. Tony Leo and the entire staff are positioned to truly impact the success of the team. I am honored to be a part of the medical staff and be able to collaborate with the front office and coaches at such an exciting and innovative time in the clubhouse!”
In addition to TCO physicians serving as team doctors, the Twins will also gain access to TCO’s extensive sports medicine and orthopedic resources.
