After three months of medicine,
physical therapy, and two epidural injections, I finally went to
Dr. Harris for a consultation. He reviewed my
MRI that I had done two months prior and immediately identified a
herniated disk at L4-L5. My previous provider outside of TCO said that there was no obvious cause for my pain and sciatica. She said “no smoking gun”. Unfortunately, I think that she was just reading the radiologist report, which did not point out a herniated disc. The radiologist must have missed it.
Fast forward, Dr. Harris performed a microdisectomy on September 14, 2026. As of today, three weeks later, my weak
right leg is back to work! I no longer use a cane, and I can ascend stairs with both legs. Feeling is returning to the right leg that was formerly numb. I have great respect for Dr. Harris! I know that he will do his best to help people. I thank him for his kind care.
