In December 2025, I had a sudden episode of pain in my right hip. I saw my primary physician and had X-rays taken which revealed severe osteoarthritis in my right hip. He referred me to Twin Cities Orthopedics. The physician offered me a cortisone injection and physical therapy in lieu of surgery. Unfortunately, this did not decrease the pain I was feeling. I kept working and performing daily activities despite having lingering pain. I knew I needed surgery instead. Dr. O'Neill was recommended to me by friends and a coworker. I chose him to perform my hip replacement surgery using a minimally invasive procedure. My initial visit with Dr. O'Neill was a very positive experience. He was very understanding, knowledgeable, caring, and listened to my plight. The surgery was also a positive experience. The team that worked with Dr. O'Neill was very caring and knowledgeable. I went from agonizing pain to no pain after surgery. I am back to work and walking easily with no discomfort. I have no restrictions on what I can do. I would highly recommend Dr. O'Neill.
