My recent back surgery was very successful. I feel better than I have for several years; I am able to go up and down stairs without any pain. I am looking forward to being able to do things I have not been able to do because of my back issues and pain. I thank Dr. Deal and Twin Cities Orthopedics for the great work they do.

The staff at TCO are wonderful! The front desk gals have been great, but the care that I’ve received from Dr. Olmstead has been exceptional. He has administered my wrist casts quickly and gently, while being very friendly and personable. At one point, one of my casts started to become uncomfortable, and Dr. Olmsted squeezed me in last minute and came up with a solution to help me out. I’m glad to choose to go to Twin Cities Orthopedics for my broken wrist. It’s been a very good experience.

I was most definitely not looking forward to my surgery beforehand but I couldn’t be more pleased with Dr. Barry and his team. I was very impressed with his patience and making sure I (and my wife) had all questions answered and not once did I feel like I was just a knee. I had surgery to repair a disk herniation that was causing a pinched nerve in June 2015. Dr. Deal had my condition quickly and properly diagnosed. His confidence in recommending the proper treatment put my mind at ease regarding the planned surgery. Prior to surgery I was unable to work, had great difficulty sleeping and was in extreme pain. Right away after surgery I was doing much better. Over the next three months while on restrictions I noticed a slow and steady improvement as lingering symptoms slowly disappeared. Now I am pain free and even small tingling reminders are becoming a rare occurrence. I could not be happier with the direction and outcome I received from Dr. Deal’s care.

I recently had surgery with Dr. Meyer I just have to say I couldn’t have had a better Surgeon or care team. It was great to see so many people who were happy and willing to answer any questions I had before and after. I would recommend him and the surgery team he used at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. They exemplify the way medical care should be. Thank you so much for all you do.

Good as new! Dr. Hunt did my hip replacement and I feel great. I am back biking, swimming and hiking. I even enjoy mowing the lawn again.

Dr. Diekmann has replaced both my knees and done some repair to my shoulder and did my dad’s knee as well. I love him for a doctor and now I am going to him for some wrist and thumb pain. He is a very good doctor and I trust him totally. He also has a good bedside manner and that is rare in specialists.

I have been going to the BWCA (Boundary Waters Canoe Area) since 1964 when my father took me on my first trip to this magical, wonderful place. Since then I have made 25-30 trips back to the BWCA, recently with my sons and nephews. To say that it has a special place in my heart is a gross understatement. 2 years ago I came off the last portage in near tears, suffering from arthritic pain. Since then, Dr. Owen O’Neill, Dr. Ed Kelly and their expert staffs have replaced 2 shoulders, 2 hips and 1 knee. The attached photo was taken earlier this year and shows me and my team ( including my youngest son and nephew ) over looking “our unnamed lake” in the BWCA. We traveled over 10 miles to get there, crossing 3 lakes, 4 portages and 3 rivers. My sincere thanks to Dr. Kelly, Dr. O’Neill and their expert staffs for giving me this important piece of my life back! I strongly recommend them both and encourage you to schedule a visit if you are in pain like I was!

When researching doctors for my shoulder replacement surgery, I wanted to meet with Dr. Kelly because of what I read about his expertise in this area. I met a friendly, down-to-earth man with a sense of humor. I felt like a person he cared about instead of a number as I had found with other doctors I had seen.

After he explained the procedure to me I left confident I had found the right doctor. I was so right! The surgery went well, as have all the follow-up appointments. Thanks also go to the team of people working with Dr. Kelly. I guess you can say I’ve become one of Dr. Kelly’s biggest fans!

Dr. O’Neill performed a Total Hip replacement, Anterior approach on February 23, 2015.
This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Prior to the surgery I struggled to walk a block or two and now I am back to 100% with no restrictions.
The recovery time was minimal, the patient care was outstanding from start to finish with follow up calls and appointments with Jessie and Dr. O’Neill.
When I explain the process and the ease of recovery with this surgery people are amazed, especially with the flexibility to cross my legs and really no restrictions, it’s as if it’s better than new.
I would recommend this procedure and team of Dr’s to anyone who is looking to get their quality of life back, I’m sure glad I did.
