For 2 years I suffered with chronic hip pain. I had gone through the usual MRI’s, physical therapy and other treatments and nothing helped. My diagnosis was a mystery to all doctors. I then ran into an old high school friend, we reconnected after 30 years and she told me about her brother Robert Hartman who was one of the top Twin Cities orthopedic surgeons. I made an appointment and met with him and mystery solved, my hip cartilage was gone, bone on bone along with bone spurs. In two years I had advanced arthritis and a total hip replacement was my only option to lead a pain free life. I knew immediately that Dr. Hartman would be my surgeon, he made me feel so comfortable and made my decision very easy. The staff at Twin Cities Orthopedics was fabulous as well, there was no doubt in my mind at almost 50 years old I wanted a better quality of life. The surgery was a success, the physical therapy was a fabulous experience for me, my coach gave me weekly self esteem boosts and gave me the confidence I needed to get my new hip where it needed to be. I am now over 3 months with my new hip and pain free, I’m now walking up to 3 miles a day and haven’t been able to take walks for 2 years. Having this hip replacement changed my life and I owe it all to Dr. Hartman and his team.
