In mid 2015, Dr. Norberg performed ankle surgery as there were several broken bones.  I was extremely pleased with his excellent surgical performance and concern for my recovery by closely monitoring my progress with PT.  Without question, I would seek out his surgical services again and refer him to others.

I have been blessed because I was able to get Dr. Hamilton as my surgeon. I had severe pain in both shoulders which was due to rotator cuff tears. On 1-29-16, I had surgery on my right shoulder which had a 100% tear. Within a few months I was on the quick mend. Now, after 6 months, that shoulder is 100% healed. On 6-19-16, I had the same surgery on my left rotator cuff which had a 90% tear. Now, after 2 1/2 months, I am 90-95% healed. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Dr. Hamilton. She has made my life so much better.

Dr. Dick seemed to know how to handle me from the beginning.  I was in agony, denial and yet stoic and dismissive of the seriousness until I saw the MRI.  Even I could tell I was in trouble.  He was very thoughtful about the problem and put time into thinking about the best approach. The pain was extreme and debilitating. He settled on a course of surgery, explained it to me and, I signed up.  There is a careful confidence about him and after the surgery I came to believe that he is very technically skilled.  I could tell even through the pain medications that he had done good, that the stabbing pain was gone.  A numbness is lingering where the pain was worst due to the pinched spine.  I am six weeks past the surgery and the physical therapy with another appointment in another six weeks and a year of healing and bone recovery and growth, walking exercise and fighting against gravity ahead.  I can almost abandon my cane after six weeks. Dr. Dick has a sense of humor that calmed me from the start and drew me in.  He was slow to promise because I was minimizing and macho and Germanic about how bad I was feeling. The surgery was five hours and pretty amazing. The members of his team who I met while conscious or in his office were engaging and fun; especially his scribe.  I am upright and feeling better back there every day.  Even the ten inches of stitchery got praised for its artistry by every nurse who changed the dressing. 

I have been seeing Dr. Sager for 20 years now and feel extremely grateful that I was referred to him, he is simply awesome!  Dr. Sager is definitely an incredibly gifted and blessed surgeon who is a master of his specialty.  I’m so happy and lucky he’s my doctor!

I slipped and fell on a sidewalk that was under repair. It was a Friday night so I didn’t seek care until the next day. My family doctor took X-rays and told me I had a break, but it didn’t appear I would need surgery. I had a wrap for it and use a lot of ice packs but it just wasn’t healing. I was then sent to Dr. Clair at TCO. For some reason, my ankle had stopped healing. No reason, it just stopped. Now surgery was needed. Dr. Clair carefully explained what surgery would involve and how long recovery would take. The clinic personnel were always very helpful and answered all my questions. Surgery went as planned as did the recovery process. I even managed to still attend the state fair with friends with the help of a wheelchair.  My ankle is good as new and there have been no problems since.

I would recommend Dr. Clair in a heartbeat. He fixed my feet to the point there is pretty much no more pain, and when some complications showed and my insurance was no longer accepted, he stayed with me until the foot was healed. He has an awesome personality and I think he is one great doctor. Thank you Dr. Clair!

I am another very satisfied patient of Dr. O’Neill‘s. Since my surgery a little over a year ago I have recommended Dr. O’Neill to a half dozen friends who are also in need of a replacement hip. He is the best!

From my first meeting with Dr. Clair, I was warmly greeted and felt at ease in his presence. He is truly a compassionate man, with the gift of understanding my needs because he is a great listener. I have had three surgeries with Dr. Clair on my right foot. My mobility is excellent as a result of his technical skills. He is a man with beautiful humility. People I spoke with on his staff respect and love him for the man he is. I love this guy. As a 67 year old senior athlete, his work on my foot helps me even today to stay active and fit. It’s not easy to say, “Yes, give me a new knee.”  However, after months of knee pain after a fall and a subsequent diagnosis of bone on bone and arthritis, I was ready.  Dr. Szalapski addressed my concerns and questions with patience and kindness and I was put at ease.  Thanks to him for my new knee and thanks to his staff, Jessica and Joe, for their timely responses to my calls and questions. I can’t say enough about the excellent after care of the nursing staff at Fairview Southdale Hospital. The entire experience with TCO was more than I could have hoped for.

Dr. Clair is an excellent surgeon with an extremely nice personality. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing his services.
