Bonnie Shelley, OTR/L, CHT, has been a Certified Hand Therapist in the Twin Cities for over 20 years and has been a valued member of Dr. McCarthy’s team since 2010. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Bonnie is Board Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and the Hand Therapy Certification Commission as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). Additionally, she holds a license from the state of Minnesota.

In the clinic, Bonnie utilizes specialized skills to assess, develop treatment plans, and address pathology of the upper limb. She works with post-operative patients, as well as those with acute and chronic conditions, collaborating with Dr. McCarthy and other Twin Cities Orthopedics physicians. Her goal is to restore function and enhance each patient’s ability to fully participate in life situations.
