Michele Jacobson, MS, OTR/L, CHT, CLT, earned a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Minnesota in 2000. She has been in hand therapy practice for over 23 years and became a Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) in 2006. The first 14 years of her practice was at a smaller rural hospital system that allowed Michele to use her hand therapy and orthotic skills to assist with long term care patients, home care patients, and pediatric patients in addition to her more typical orthopedic hand patients. Michele has been with Twin Cities Orthopedics for over nine years at the Burnsville location and serves on leadership teams. Additionally, Michele coordinates and mentors’ fieldwork students for TCO and has thoroughly enjoy teaching and sharing her skills with others. When not working, she enjoys running, hiking, skiing, anything outdoors, volunteering, and spending time with family.
