Sara Jorud, OTR/L, CHT, CEAS, attained her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the College of St. Scholastica in 1997. Her specialization in Hand Therapy dates back to 2002, when she acquired certification in this field in 2003. In 2005, she earned certification in Augmented Soft Tissue Manipulation (ASTYM), a highly effective treatment technique for addressing conditions such as tendonitis and other soft tissue injuries. Sara’s primary focus lies in the treatment of conditions extending from the shoulder to the hand, and she possesses additional training and a distinct interest in myofascial techniques.
Furthermore, Sara is recognized as a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEAS) and holds certifications in the administration of Post Offer Employment Tests (POET) and Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE). She also specializes in on-site early symptom intervention, injury prevention services, ergonomics, and job risk analysis.
Sara takes great pleasure in collaborating with her patients to help them achieve their objectives while promoting their well-being in their occupational and daily lives. Beyond her professional commitments, Sara enjoys crafting jewelry for her jewelry business and spending quality time with her husband and two children.
