Shelly Reiner, OTR/L, CHT, is a 1984 graduate of College of St. Catherine St. Paul, Minnesota, obtaining her Certified Hand Therapist certification in 1991. She owned and operated Minnesota Hand Therapy in St. Paul for 31 years before joining TCO in 2015. Shelly has over 39 years of direct patient care experience. Through continuing education, clinical experience, and integration of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, Shelly has become an expert in the treatment of upper quadrant conditions. As a hand specialist, she has developed skills in care and management of fractures, nerve conditions, tendon injuries, repetitive strain conditions, tendon transfers, CRPS, and arthritis. She believes a team approach of support professionals is essential for positive outcomes. Shelly has been a presenter with the Orthotic Skills Building Course from the beginning. Outside of work Shelly enjoys spending time with her family and at the beach in Sanibel, Florida.
