Twin Cities Orthopedics expands clinic, service offerings in Minnetonka
Twin Cities Orthopedics expanded services at its Minnetonka location today with the opening of a new clinic space.
The expansion provides convenient access for patients and families to meet the growing demand for orthopedic urgent care, orthopedic specialists as well as physical therapy and hand therapy. The clinic is located on the first floor and therapy on the second floor of the Minnetonka Medical Center at 15450 MN-7.
The opening means easier availability and more access to specialty care.
“We’re excited about expanding our presence in the Minnetonka community,” TCO Chief Operating Officer Rob Simmons said. “Over the years we have seen a demand for our services grow in this market, and we felt that the Minnetonka Medical Center provided a great opportunity for our physicians and therapists to create increased access for those seeking orthopedic care. In this location we will now add to our current orthopedic urgent care service to include the specialties of sports medicine, upper and lower extremity, as well as spine and neck care.”
For those in and near Minnetonka, the visit is closer to home.
“We wanted to provide an even more convenient location for extended hours, more therapy availability, and continued top-notch service for individuals living and working in the central west metro because we understand that families are busy and don’t always have time to drive that extra 20 minutes for an appointment,” TCO Director of Sports Medicine and Therapy Chris Bailey, PT, DPT, OCS, said. “We’ve seen that patients value our 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. orthopedic urgent care hours, so we thought it was important to bring that service to the Minnetonka community.”
TCO Physicians are excited about the expansion as well.
