4 TCO physicians named to Rising Stars list
Congratulations to four Twin Cities Orthopedics physicians named to Mpls.St.Paul Magazine’s 2017 Top Doctors, Rising Stars Edition list. The magazine’s third annual list recognizes peer-nominated physicians who have been fully licensed for 10 years or less and demonstrate medical excellence in our community.
Dr. Jason Barry
Dr. Jason Barry is a sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and sports-related injuries, treating patients of all ages for total joints, fracture care and general orthopedics. Dr. Barry completed his fellowship at TRIA Orthopaedic Center. He received his medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Neb., and practices in Coon Rapids, Fridley and Otsego.
Dr. Scott Holthusen
Dr. Scott Holthusen is a foot and ankle surgery fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in complex foot and ankle reconstruction, including total ankle arthroplasty. Dr. Holthusen completed his fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at Harborview Medical Center/University of Washington in Seattle. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and practices in Chaska and Waconia.
Dr. Steven Meisterling
Dr. Steven Meisterling is a sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder and elbow; joint replacement of the knee, hip and shoulder; and elbow reconstruction. He completed his fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala., with Dr. James Andrews. Dr. Meisterling received his medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Neb., and practices in Lake Elmo, Maplewood, St. Croix Falls and Stillwater.
Dr. Erik Peterson
Dr. Erik Peterson is an orthopedic surgeon with an interest in total knee and hip replacements, revision knee and hip replacements, sports injuries, and fractures. Dr. Peterson specializes in fracture care, minimally invasive joint replacement and sports medicine. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and practices in Maplewood, Oak Park Heights, St. Croix Falls and Wyoming.
